 "Classic" Rally/Day out in Rutland today - Meldrew
Lots of tasty cars meandering through the countryside today, near Cottesmore. Ones that I recognised included AC Aceca, TR6. lots of Moggies, Rileys, several Austins, 7s Ruby etc, MG Bs, a Magnette and a TC Rover 2000 some really old landaulette vehicle so old that it was reg was C 7539 or similar. Nice to them out and about and nice and dry for them too.

Would like to have seen those out and about, salt's still about though glad it kept dry for them.

Ohh bet that was nice. I used to lived in Worcester for a while and bought a book called "Me, My Morgan and the Midlands" by Michael Pearson. It was like a guide book/travel book combined and it had a piece on Rutland in it. I did a drive down there and was surprised how lovely it was!
