Sounds like something Renault might have made up for publicity, or even if not, they're probably not unhappy with the coverage.

Wasn't there a similar fuss about a Renault (or other French car) and its name within the last year or 2?

Zoe is a fine name for a car.

I see from the article the litigant is a certain 'Zoe Renault' ffrom Paris - maybe Renault (the company) could counter sue (oh no! let's not get sue invloved as well -ed.) for her use of the name 'Renault' - after all I'd imagine they were here a deal longer than the 23 year old - and then call it quits.. (no, not call the car 'quits', I mean the.. oh never mind..)

I feel slightly sorry for Zoe Renault though how an individual can expect stop a car company using a widely used name for a car I dont know !!!

We will have Henrys complaining about vacuum cleaners next!
