Driving home today following a Corsa with driver and passenger and blow me down but the diver had his large satnav mounted directly in front of him, and I mean right in his line of sight, even from my position behind I could read the map! I luckily managed to get past him just before he pull out into the outside line of a dual caridgeway right in front of a white van.
This just left me gob smacked.

What someone should do is an app that just displays the camera view, but overlays small arrows for left and right as appropriate. That could be mounted in line of sight as you'd be looking "through" the phone, but would also get simple navigation.

Its one easy way of spotting the drivers to keep well clear of, a phone clamped to the ear, or admiring their genitals (or texting) are others. :-)
