Always did like Pandas. Good strong wee cars.

I always knew the Panda was the fastest car in the world :) On that note I am going to be writing a long review on my car in the next few days when I hit a new milestone ;)

First time over 50mph? :-)

The fastest I have done it is an indicated 82mph. It is a very odd car though, had it well over two years now and never get bored of it, always makes me happy and smile.

Or in anything else actually... But no, I won't bore you.

Maybe that's how he broke his mirror a while back ;)

I will. In my teens, I caught my foot peg of my moped on one while chasing rabbits on the downs and it threw me into the ditch that was just behind it.

Rattle,
the object of the exercise is NOT to hit any objects on the roadside.

Anyways, you now know what your panda is capable of doing.
Gas up, and I'll see you at my place in a fortnight or so.

Scanning the report, I couldn't see which Panda engine was being used.

Anyone worked it out?

Any other figures eg average MPG or speed?

Doesn't quite compare I know, but a lifetime ago we used to take our "Y" reg mk1 2wd Panda from Edinburgh to Switzerland on several winter skiing trips. I had bigger and perhaps more suitable company cars at the time but my then employers weren't keen on them being taken out of the UK unless on company business.

The wee car always did us well. Skis on the roof and the back seat removed to create enough space to stash all the other kit.

Didn't seem too adventurous at the time although I guess it might feel so now in such a basic car.

Perceptions change I suppose.

It mentions it in the report. Also confirmed by entering the numberplate into MyCarCheck App, Twinair 875cc 85 bhp engine.

Nothing wrong with a Fiat Panda , good ,basic , not a lot to go wrong sort of motors.....

Some nice photos there , particularly enjoyed seeing the ones of Sidi Bu Said in Tunisia , very nice little place which I visited a few years back with SWMBO ..... just down the road from the diplomatic area , the presidential palace and the ruins of Carthage.

I do not recommend Tunisia for a visit at the moment though....
