Anyone going this year. SWMBO's arranged a family do, so I won't be there.

No, I won't be there this year either bt - we'll be in Cambridge for the daughter's birthday, as we didn't see her at Christmas.

I can't imagine the weather being as kind as last year, when the boss and I had the top down on the poorly MX5.

I'll be marshalling a tarmac autotest at Bovingdon airfield tomorrow - almost what MX5s were designed for.

Sadly no. I think it's probably to do with the immobiliser, but it could be an expensive fix so it might be better to out it in the Spring rather than keep throwing money at it. The odd thing is, it didn't do it before the cylinder head was reconditioned.

That might suggest cam position sensor to me.

IIRC the cam and crank position sensors are the same and didn't you replace one? I'd be tempted to start swapping and changing them around, but don't lose track of what was where and where it went!
