>>>Nice yellow that...

Funny as I mentioned it in the car lighting thread but that was exactly the colour of my old Herald.

I thought the MGB roadster looked rather nice in Primrose ... perhaps I'm 'on the turn'.

:-))

Driving on the old Portsmouth Road on the banks of the Thames into Kingston you can see how high the water level is accentuated by being able to look at the large pleasure craft that are normall hiding down lower.
No flooding that I am aware of but it must be a close thing.

Here is the Kennet at Riverside in Reading on the 22nd December, snapped with my Galaxy Note. The area on the left behind the temporary barrier in the first picture is normally home to a handful of kiddies fairground rides.

reading under water is a vast improvement
 Flooding (Volume 2) - DP
You say that, Zero (and on the whole I agree), but Riverside is testament to what regeneration can achieve. There are far worse places to sit and enjoy a cold beer and some food on a summer's evening. It's also the best shopping centre for miles around.

Not sure I could read under water. Glasses wouldn't work would they?

:-)

I thought that as well.

Live webcam at the new Walton Bridge site. The fence immediately in front of the camera is now standing in water.

Warning, its 10 minutes long, you could get bored, but it has FiFi the Zero hound in it a lot, more water than the previous one, a transit in the flood (motoring link), and Walton bridge being built (motoring link)
 Flooding (Volume 2) - Robin O'Reliant
Fine looking dog there Z, deserves a better name than FiFi.
 Flooding (Volume 2) - Zero
Its not of course its real name, that's its C4P nom de plume, and yeah she is in fine fetal for 13.5 years old.

Just as well it wasn't a windy day then Mr Z.

 Flooding (Volume 2) - Zero
See the way the dogs ears flap in the wind?
 Flooding (Volume 2) - Dog
Yeah (hehe!) made the missus larf as well.
 Flooding (Volume 2) - Duncan
Have you been following me?

I parked right by Chertsey bridge. Were you the ugly bloke with the knackered foreign car?

Dog looks all right though.
 Flooding (Volume 2) - Zero
did we talk?

Lots of moisture on the roads this evening in my part of the world. Lashing rain all the way from Bradford to Settle with single file traffic round several large 'puddles'.
I didn't enjoy Life of Pi, prefering the book, and a class 1 mimser, steady 35, reducing to 20, with a long tailback. Should'nt be allowed out.
