 What to buy? - PRM
Hi all, my wife needs a smallish 4/5 door ( Corsa/ Fiesta size ) automatic. Whats the best most reliable with a decent reliable proper auto, about £5-6000 to spend, thanks

Kia Picanto.

I think the auto is a slushbox.

About £8k for a brand new one, so I imagine £6k will get one still under factory warranty.

We looked at them, but they are tiny. Something a tad bigger methinks cos i have to drive it too now and then, and i'm used to an E class.

Hyundai i10, Suzuki Swift/Alto/Splash, Nissan Micra, Daihatsu Serion etc.

Kia Rio, Hyundai i20, Kia Venga, Nissan Note most small far eastern models have an auto box in the range.

Avoid the automated manuals - dreadful things.

We got rid of a E320 and bought a new Mitsi colt automated manual. Cracking car, bags of room. Will do a ton + and 0-60 in 10 secs. Not bad for a 1.3. We love it.
