Doesn't offend me, but then the Mk10 is hardly a paragon of classical proportion to begin with.

A vast improvement on an overweight disproportioned barge.

Yeah, the Mk10 was one ugly unloved SoB.
They were an absolute barge but Rolls like to travel in and so far above the average motor in the 60s.
However if picking from that era I'd prefer a 420.

Crocodile skin belongs on crocodiles.
No more than cow hides belong on cows surely.
Not many cows are killed for their hide alone, CG. I've eaten tail meat from both crocodile and alligator (alligator is tastier, I think) but both were by-products of the handbag industry.
But if they're farmed crocodiles what's the difference between the meat being an by-product of the handbag industry and a cow-hide being a by product of the meat industry?
Either way the cows and crocodiles wind up dead.

I hated these cars in the 70's when I was a child. Still dislike them now but I must say this custom job is an improvement. I believe it would be better in a darker colour however. Dark metallic blue perhaps.
Exactly my thoughts - a real looker now..
Don't the Americans call these lead sleds? - large barges with extreme roof chops.
I confess - I think it looks great!
I agree that the Mk 10 was an ugly barge in standard form. But I have absolutely no doubt that the standard car would be a lot better as a car than an ugly barge with buttock and breast extensions and alligator skin upholstery, which is what this thing is. I wonder how much more it weighs than it did before the changes? Yuck.
