If you are demonstrating that your latest model has a fantastic crash-preventing piece of technology, the last thing you want is for it to completely fail when you are showing it off.

To put some Government spin on it, it wasn't a complete failure.
The automatic wipers still worked...

Glad that it failed. There is no need to bring out car that brakes automatically. Some things should be left for drivers!

If you like everything to be automated either take a train or employ a chauffeur.
