Just took posession of my new Polo.
It came with Hankook optima tyres, a make i've never used or know anthing about.
I must say on tyre noise they're extremely good, but i wonder how durable they are.
Has anyone had experiance of this brand ?

"but i wonder how durable they are."
The don't last long - you must have heard of Hankook's half-hour.

Very droll CGN.
I needed a giggle.
|
Ford also fit Hankook tyres to some models (Mondeo)
The Polo is also fitted with Kumho tyres - another Korean manufacturer.

I had Hancooks on my Westfield...Jolly good they were too.
|
I put Hankooks on my current car as they easily did 30k on my last Charade. Seems an entirely reasonable rate of wear.
They seem to be a very good all round tyre, plenty of bite and fine in the wet.

How would you know, a 54bhp wardrobe is not "bite" more like "gums"

>>a 54bhp wardrobe
Did you forget he sold the Wagon R?
More of a sideboard this one ;-)

Since when did power have anything to do with change of direction or mid-bend grip?
Id not expect a Lancer driver to know of course, its such an old design, I expect you rely on the man with the flag to see you through a tricky bend :-)

you don't fit tyres on those casters of yours.

Bit like my Nokian tyres, they're all round as well.
