On the way home i was driving along at 35 in a 30 with flow of traffic were 2 lanes go into 1 i was in lane 2 just moving over into lane 1 between 2 cars.
On the other side of the road where the 1 lane goes into 2 there is a gatso for that side but the white measuring lines are on both sides of the road so 4 lanes in total.
Just as i was going through the white line section a lexus coming towards me triggerd the camera and got flashed twice, could i also get a ticket for going 35 in opposite direction?

Spoilsports, you should have said yes and let him worry himself sick for a couple of weeks.

No, rear-facing Gatsos are not type-approved to provide evidence for prosecution against vehicles travelling towards them.

That must be a uniquely British thing. Sometimes I reckon we give the Germans a run for their money when it comes to the slavish following of piffling rules.
In these parts I got hoist by that very petard (pulling out to overtake a cyclist, giving it a squirt to complete the maneuver as quickly as possible and tripping a GATSO facing the other way).

Always makes me laugh when people post about French cameras. Why worry about them if your car is registered over here?

"Have i just been flashed?".
Not by me - my macintosh is away for cleaning.

"...my macintosh is away for cleaning..."
Bet it needs it, too.... the cleaning, that is.
