I have today changed the rear pads in my Xantia. 2001, 131k miles - and these were the original pads! Discs are serviceable, which is more than can be said for the NS pipe unfortunately, so still not mobile....
I have been putting the job off for 3 years, decided it really was time - the corrosion issue that Xantias suffer from between the caliper and arm had got really bad, and one of the pads was down to the backing. Fortunately got away with no broken bolts, which is a problem with this job (and why I have been putting it off!)

That's very impressive! And there was I pleased (if slightly surprised...) that our A4 is still in its original front pads/disks after 52k miles. 75% worn at MOT time if the dealer is to be believed ;-)
