Why 206 has vents on bonnet?

How it handles the rain water?

An air intake for the interior ventilation and heater? Most cars have it at the lower edge of the windscreen but the French have to be different.

Rain dealt with by a drain? Which being a French design is probably directly above the engine ECU. :-)
