Good news for workers and people with the cash to buy one.

There's quite a few new models coming out over the next few years.

XF estate in Nov, F Type, X Type replacement, 4x4

Ratan Tata did the company an enormous service by buying in.

...XF estate you say? Ooooh !...

Should be big enough for your purpose, assuming they follow Merc's lead and make it a proper estate, not a 'lifestyle' one.

Oh dear. That rear view is pure Vauxhall Insignia. One member here might be pleased but not this one. Combine that with the ugly new snout they've stuck on the XF and much of the early svelteness and poise has gone. Pity.

My first thought was also 'Insignia', which is reasonably pleasing from my point of view, even though I'll probably be too old to drive by the time these reach my car budget level.

The insignia estate has a pleasant enough posteria, and if the Jag looks like it, its look a lot peachier to me.

Hmm, the Jag isn't as nice as I was hoping. In the photos anyway. Might be better in reality. Prefer my Merc to be honest. Oh well...

The new(ish) Audi A6 estate's a bit of a looker.

Compared to yours? Restrained and discrete.

I suppose you're right. The 1.6 will be fairly restrained I guess. Especially up hill.
