Cheap parking...happens a lot in the city. Footballers are good at it visiing restaurants in the evening. Even if Parking Services take the car, it's only another £100 and a taxi ride to get it back

I got a ticket on Monday, well, one of the club cars did. Npt in the City but in a nearby suburb. Yes, on double yellows because some selfish twonk had parked in ' our ' bay the night before.
In contrast to the Veyron, our Corsa was in a small, cobbled dead end street with no buildings and no reason for anyone to drive up there. The back of a derelict works was at one end and just weed covered demolition sites all around. The lines were mostly worn away on the cobbles.
I don't think there were any signs either, having been removed by the metal thieves or taken away with the buildings.

It would be a big asset to the area if these streets we given over to parking until re-development was planned.

I don't expect the firm to pay the fine, we are on good terms with parking control.

Typed with some difficulty after yesterday's eye injection !
