Volkswagen Polo III - 99 1.4 rear wiper - zookeeper

hi ive noticed my rear wiper doesnt operate when switched on, i can hear the relay clicking every 2-3 seconds and the fuse is intact, ive inspected the wiring connector that goes to the motor and all seems clean and intact.....can i test the motor some how as that seems the only thing that can be at fault?

its likely to be a broken wire in the loom between the tailgate and the body.

A past girlfreind of mine, had a similar issue, where by the wiper would not switch off!

It turned out to be a broken wire in the loom inbetween the tailgate, and the body, the cable, when entact was as short as it possibly could be!

Well I suppose they had to save money somewhere
