hi room, il keep it simple....what oil can i use in a vw polo (6n1) 1.4 petrol
ive got a quantity of 10/40 semi synth but what it says on the tin is a bit worrying?
ie not reccomended for volkswagons and similar etc etc

Well obviously don't use the stuff you have got! Do you have the handbook? If so use oil the oil specefied in that - sorry to state the obvious.

yes you can use 10/40 or 15/40 semi synth in your car.

The VW warning is for post 2001 engines on variable servicing.
