 Citroen C3 - 09 1.4 Engine oil specification 8FR0 - hawkeye
Anyone know what oil I should put in a C3 VTi plus petrol engine ?

Or where I could find it in the manual.

Leaning towards 5w/30 because that's what the similar engine in the DS3 takes.

Bit of an omission in the owner's manual ?

In the C2 handbook, lubricants are listed in the 'maintenance and guarantee guide' aka service history booklet.

The recommended will probably be Total..(unless another maker is doing the best deal for PSA in which case they'll now be the best available..;), so you'll have to look the oil up on Total website to get the relevent SAE numbers.

Thanks chaps (made a gender assumption there).

Found the right bit in the maintenance guide and 10w/40 will be OK.

Since the reg change last month neither old nor new reg is found on those websites that ask for it.
