 Vauxhall Astra G Petrol - 01 1.6 Need help with engine code - nice but dim
This may be one for DD (VXFan)

I have been asked to find an engine model code for an Vauxhall Astra 2001 registration. I know the vehicle is an 8 valve engine, "Club" trim and has air conditioning. A bit of research has found 3 codes which this car will be one of;

C16SE
E16SE
Z16SE

Can you advise which one it is please?

I also have VIN, engine code and reg plate off V% if required but wont post on this forum but will email to mods if needed.

Just checked my (KIA) engine No, it includes the engine type as the first six letters (D4FBAZxxxxxx).
