 Vauxhall Astra G Petrol - 01 1.4 Astra fuel consumption - mosh
My 2001 1.4LS Astra's petrol consumption is very high (22MPG) also trip computer is not working (i think this model has trip computer), need advice. Thanks

Give it a complete service as per the book, changing all filters. Check the brakes are not binding. How does it perform? run well?

I dont think it has one at that age/spec.

have you tried using all the gears?
theres usually 5 to go forwards
if you do then obviously as our learned friend says give it a proper service paying special attention to the glowing front wheel hub or maybe the cts out of spec?

As said, an LS won't have a trip computer as standard equipment.

See the Parkers website for the standard spec the LS had.
