I had a fault with the engine , and bought a 2nd hand engine from a scrap yard and got a recommended friend of a friend to install it .
From day one , the ‘engine fault have the vehicle repaired ,’ appeared ,but I’ve had to drive it , but I can get it back to the mechanic tomorrow ‘ - last two days it’s run out of coolant , and despite replacing the fluid , It needs refilling tomorrow before I take it back
What might be the problem , and can the original installation , be the cause of the latter , or is it likely the 2nd hand engine could have been the problem .
Any suggestions would be helpful.
