SAAB 9-5 - 01 3.0 V6 TiD Failed clutch - book time and likely - nice but dim
First of all, thanks to all replies on the 'misfire' thread for this car which was cured by a mild itaiian tune up and some diesel injector cleaner.

Lastly, any ideas on likely costs and book time in hours for a clutch change on this car. It has done 167,000 miles and clutch is juddery and very easy to stall at low speeds and manouvering. Once going clutch less juddery but not perfect, easy to cruch gears if not careful. The biggest worry is if these engines have DMF's (do they??) and how likely is it that it will need changing as well as the clutch. I have seen a clutch in local GSF for £209 inc vat, i assume that DMF's (if required) are around the £250 mark?

Any idess would be very greatly appreicated.

Tin hat on - very nice car to drive but turning into mobile piggy bank!
