 Nissan - 52 1.0 5w40 v 15w40 - Chris S
Halfords are selling cheap 5w40 oil, my Nissan Micra uses 15w40.
Will the oil protect it's engine during the warm-up period?

Is the oil to Nissan's spec?

If yes, then yes.

If no, then it may not.

5w40 might exceed Nissan's spec
