KIA Cee'd - 07 1.6 transmission judder - movilogo

Kia Ceed, 2007 petrol auto, mileage 71k, full kia service history

When I move shift lever from P to R or D, there is juddering.

Same when moving from N to D. Engine check light is also on.

Also it seems RPM it's higher than normal when car is changing gear.

Can't take car to dealer before next weekend. Is it OK to drive the car or it will cause further problem?

Handbook just says take to dealer.

They are not too far but I work away from home most days.
