 Peugeot 307 - 03 1.6 Horn not working - legacylad
It stopped working on my friends car last week. He has checked the fuse which is ok.
Anything obvious he could check before it has to be taken to a garage?

Assuming you press the centre of the steering wheel (airbag) like my 406, remove the airbag and clean the contacts.

The main problem with a horn not working is finding out where the thing's hidden.

This is a very common problem with this model.The earth wire on the steering wheel boss corrodes and makes a poor contact.It is a very simple fix,but you need to remove the airbag for access ,which in itself can be a bit of a pain.

My friend took it to a local indie, and voiced his suspicions after the above advice. Earth contact was ok. Turned out the horn was broken. £39 cost of total repair.
