Ford Mondeo 1 - 96 2.0 DMF - zookeeper

hi room, im looking for some new wheels thinking of a mondeo
can anyone tell me witch model to avoid , seem to remember lot of
chatter on here over the years about faulty duel mass flywheels?

Ford Mondeo 1 - 96 2.0 DMF - carmalade

None of the mk 1 or 2 mondeo models had a dmf.These started to appear on the diesel models from around 2002.If you are looking for a cheapie ,then go for a 1.8 or 2.0 petrol from around 1998 -2005.These seem to go on forever without any major issues.

Also try & make sure that the clutch is not nearing the end of its life as its a pretty big job on these.
