Audi A3 + S3 - 08 1998 electric windows master control switch pro - Hacko

A3 Sportback has elec front windows prob, only happens when I use driver's control switch (operates all 4). Windows sometimes close then bounce back 2-3 ins, or don't work at all. System regularly needs resetting and then ok temporarily. When I lean over and only use front passenger individual switch, window works fine. Driving me potty. Sometimes can hear driver's window still running after window closed; one tap on switch stops this. Would diagnostic show any prob on the master switch? To an amateur, that's where problem seems to be. Maybe needs replacing? If so how does one get to the switch?

Clearly you have been resetting it, so its not that. It either needs a new switch, or the window or mechanism is sticky and needs cleaning / lubricating.
