<description>I think we would find a stick vac useful for odd jobs and car cleaning (with stick detached) but I have nothing to say to Dyson and I'm not paying £300+ for one.

Just bought one of these for £55 on the recommendation of a friend. The only drawback it seems is fairly short battery life but 20 minutes at a time will do for me.  We have a mighty SEBO for the serious stuff.
