A bit of a rattler, slow and noisy and very poor for a luxury car even a Ford. It never actually failed in the 50,000 or so miles it had on when I sold it, although an idler fell off and released the serpentine belt at one point. This resulted in impossibly heavy brakes and steering, the brake booster ran off a vacuum pump on the alternator. Over time it would get smokier until I shoved a full bottle of Millers in the tank which I used to do for the MoT, following which it would lay proper smoke for while and then clear. I assumed it just sooted up the injectors and messed up the spray pattern.
