Now I believe sadly closed, like so many snooker halls in recent years. I've been to the Crucible and the Masters in London was a regular venue for many years. There are only two known instances where players have achieved the highest possible break of 155, both in practice. Jamie Cope in 2005 and in 2021 the Thai player Thepchaiya Un-Nooh did the same at a club in Darlington. I also enjoy it whenever I et a chance to pay but a break of two balls is something of an achievement for me. Also remember playing billiards when i was v young, on a smaller table. Ronnie O'Sullivan beaten in the final by Thepchaiya Un-Nooh. In an earlier round O'Sullivan set up a new world record break of 153. Un-Nooh did a maximum of 147 in one of his frames in the final. Wonderful awards ceremony. Lots of dummy cheques, garlands, medals and speeches in Chinese and English.
