 Windows Internet Explorer (Not Responding) - Tooslow
That's right S, it was an Evesham. The effect took some months, or it may have been years, before it became apparent. It certainly wasn't there from the beginning. But switching it off cured the problem. There may have been an interaction with something else. Who can tell after all this time?
