 Wasp removal - Bobby
When I was up getting cases out the loft I heard wasps and saw a nest hanging from the roof. Called wasp man out who went up to loft sprayed a foam around it and then (I think) systematically removed the nest bit by bit. He sealed the loft hatch with tape as the blighters that were left were rather angry and there was a slight gap on the hatch.
Day before we went on holiday I realised there was still wasp activity on the roof on the extension side ( different loft separated by a gable wall)
So he has came out today and accessed this one from outside and said that it was a biggie and has basically sprayed a load of insecticide through the access areas in the roof.
When I asked do they not physically remove the wasps nest he said when it wasn’t as accessible then this is what they do. He said the nest is basically paper and over time it will just degrade.

I know nothing about wasps nest but thinking surely you would want the nest and dead wasps removed from your loft area? Not sure if I have used a chancer, though he comes well recommended, or whether this is normal?
