Sister bought an 18 month old S Max couple months back.
Warning light came on last week.
Took to Ford dealer, apparently it needs a new coolant pump.
There are none in the UK and earliest delivery date is expected to be mid June.
Ford have given her a courtesy car via Enterprise, needed to be a 7 seater so they now have a Merc GLB. A sort of 7 seater SUV that weighs 2.2 ton and has a 1.3 petrol engine.
They say they much prefer the S Max. Can’t get 3 child seats /boosters in the Merc middle row.
Is a coolant pump same as a water pump? Surprised at the lack of availability.
