Ford had to close its parts centre in Daventry in the second half of last year due to the discovery of asbestos.
It was scheduled to reopen after a complete clean, but at the time no timescale was given for reopening, and 6 to 8 months was certainly mentioned at one point.
So, I'm not at all clear as to whether it is yet open or back up to speed, but in the interim, orders were being fulfilled from Germany and Spain with the concomitant effect on delivery times.
(there have been complaints for some time on the motorhome forums of lack of availability of Transit parts).
