Dunkelflaute has been in daily use on an energy forum I frequent since about November since it became the cause of many of us not really doing so well on some of the more exotic Octopus tariffs as in previous years.
I've not had an overnight where they pay me for a good couple of weeks, and in fact overnights often aren't massively different to daytime on the Agile tariff. E.G. the lowest overnight tonight is a huge 22.57p at 01:30. The washing and dishwasher will have to wait another day :-) though the longer term forecasts (often less than accurate) are hardly showing anything lower than that before 12th
