I doubt very much if the aircon in our Jazz has had much in the way of routine servicing - while I have the service book and several old MOTs confirming a very low mileage, there are no records of anything being done to the air conditioning. Today I changed the pollen filter and although it was not Honda OE it was pretty filthy
As an aside:what an easy job - the instructions with the Bosch filter I bought reckoned it's a five minute job. Wrong! It took two minutes. Other makers - SEAT are you listening - take note!
So back to the question- which I have not yet posed - should I have the aircon system re-gassed?
If so should I use the likes of Kwik-Fit, Halfords or other chains, an indie , or should I use a specialist firm mobile ,or static?
They all make similar claims; the prices range from £45 to £55.
Are they all much of a muchness, has anyone real-life experience?
